The history of the Halloween goes back to more ago than 2,500 years, exactly on the 31 of October of our calendar. The cattle was taken from the meadows to the stables for the winter. That day, it was supposed that the spirits could leave the cemeteries and kidnap the bodies of the alive ones to revive. In order to avoid it, the celtas soiled the houses and decorated them with bones, disagreeable skulls and other things, so that the scared deads escape and go away. From there comes the tradition of decorate the houses and of the costumes. That is why, Christian religion see with bad eyes the celebrations of Halloween, because of the pagan origins of this festival, and they don't participate in them.

Nowadays Halloween is one of the most important dates of the norteamerican and Canadian festive calendar. Here in Argentina, it is named as "Night of witches" and it is the celebration with more commercial success. The disguises shops are decorated with the traditional colours black and orange, pumpkins and adornments. Trick-or-treating is a very little practiced activity, in some places children dress up in costumes and go door to door for treats. In addition, it is very common the halloweens parties, where abound the masks and the disguises for the occasion.
